Amy Smart has been a model, actress as well as a former American. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her acting debut came at the age of 16 in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was difficult for her to transition from modeling to acting since models were not considered to be good actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy did not give up. She worked her way up to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her play larger roles. Amy attained the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years, when her movie called Just Friends came out.
