Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling professional career in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut as an actor in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land a small role on Starship Troopers. This was not easy for Amy since she needed to move from modelling into the acting profession. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to play smaller, less important roles. Amy didn't give up, and eventually she landed bigger roles in the films Varsity Blues and The 70s. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also had Ryan Reynolds, saw her play some more notable role. Amy was finally recognized for the role she'd been looking for since the age of 10. Amy went on to appear in major film projects including the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
