Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. She is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. They was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, then moved to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was a very difficult experience. She was not willing to study English and believed she would be able to move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was required to take her. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in shows. After she turned 16, she left school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. She was given a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
